Benadryl dose is: 25-50 mg every 6-8 hours, not to exceed 300 mg/day. A high dose MAY briefly cause some of these symptoms: sleepiness, confusion, dryness of the throat and nasal membranes, blurred vision, rapid heart rate, restlessness, dizziness, ringing in the ears. Symptoms should pass quickly. She is advised to not operate a motor vehicle if sedated. Best regards.
