Depends what's in it: Read the labels carefully and see what the active ingredient is. Many drugs cross through the skin and go into the circulation. Then call your OB GYN to double check it it's safe to use. It's easier if you can use an iced compress that you control by reapplication. Usually on areas inflamed, cool it down. Areas that are cold, warm it up. Those packs don't last long enough to provide relief.
