Not if period comes: If a period comes, and looks and feels like a regular normal period, then pregnancy most likely did not occur. The morning-after pill works if taken 0-5 days after sex, so an i-Pill taken 1 day after sex should be effective. However, one should always do a home urine pregnancy test 3 weeks after taking an emergency contraceptive pill, just to be sure the pill worked and there is no pregnancy.
