Hearing: Try a nasal sinus rinse kit with saline water. Ask your pharmacist about these. Sometimes they are called neti pots. This will really help clear up the congestion and open up the nasal passages and hence improve the hearing. Generally you will notice difference with twice daily use in 3 days.
