Maybe not: If you have an established diagnosis of MS, then rest assured your MRI studies will be "abnormal". The question a neurologist will ask him/herself, are any of these abnormalities new since the last MRI? Are any of these abnormalities recently active? (enhanced with contrast). Are there any new lesions on the spinal cord?
