Just a thought: the nerves from your spinal cord in your neck which exit between the 6th and 7th vertebrae "travel" to your upper extremities...the pain from one of these nerves pinched by a disc (or muscle spasm) in your neck could THEORETICALLY be felt in your hand ...these nerves also supply the upper chest..THUS the left upper chest (heart)....Hard to believe?? oh well it's just a thought.....hope it helps Z
