A member asked:

I have leukemia of vulva and have had it for a year and a half and the meds are not getting rid of it but doctor is not concerned should i be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Leukoplakia: This may be trivial hyperkeratosis or premalignancy. A biopsy will tell. If it's the former, don't worry; if the latter, definitive treatment may consist of any of several modern approaches -- perhaps a laser or a special medication in place of old-fashioned surgery.
