Ugi series: This would be an unusual reaction to barium which may actually cause constipation. This may be a coincidental viral gastrointestinal infection. Drinking room temperature, flat ginger ale helps settle nausea. I don't know the patients age, but if she is old enough,taking kaopectate controls diarrhea. Diet should be light with broth and saltine crackers progressing to soft solids. See MD as needed.
