Vertigo: This sounds like labyrinthitis or vestibular neuritis which may happen following a simple viral infection. You could also have anaemia which is a common cause of dizziness. If the symptoms have been going on for a while, you may need to see a doctor for an examination and blood tests and possibly imaging such as CT scan to ensure there are no other serious causes.

Dizziness : Dizziness can due to low blood pressure or could be vertigo . These can be secondary to anaemia , diarrhoea , dehydration, viral illness etc .
