About

Bio

I am a very "practical" doctor. When a problem comes up, both my patient and I need to discuss it and work it out together. You will find that I listen, provide information, and will be honest. As an emergency doctor, my strength is handling new problems. I am not the best resource for chronic problems or for medical problems that are handled in a doctor's office by getting a test and returning for medication adjustments, like thyroid problems or diabetes. I don't prescribe antibiotics for colds. I don't think narcotics should be long term medications.

Specialties
Doctors may have more than one area of specialty interest. Board certification in a specialty area means the doctor has completed formal training and has practice experience in that specialty, and has passed the certification examination from the corresponding accredited medical specialty board.
