Doctor should check: Pain may be from an injury to the blood vessel (artery) used for the angiogram. Blood leaks out of the artery and forms a painful lump called a pseudoaneurysm, which would mean an operation to repair. This is not normal and I would get it checked.

Pain: I would recommend going to ER for sonogram as this may represent a pseudo aneurysm of the artery that was used to acces for the angiogram
