Leg Pain Edema: Hi, Pain shooting down the leg maybe from the lower back nerve the Sciatic nerve. Soft tissue swelling could be a clot, sprain, edema. Need more history . Pain is an indicator your body is telling you to get a Check up. Dr Lori Lange-Pennsylvania
