No effect: There are no medical conditions or treatment known to have any effect on the HSV blood tests, and your HSV2 test result has nothing to do with your injection. Probably you have HSV2, but that depends a bit on exactly what test was done. If you had the most common one (HerpeSelect®), this is a strongly positive results that almost certainly means you have HSV2.
