Call Dentist, Ob: Hi, How frustrating the tylenol and antibiotics are not helping the broken tooth.You may need to increase doseage of the tylenol. I would contact the dentist. Ibuprofen is available over the counter at the pharmacy. It is a very good pain medication for tooth pain control. It will not interfer with the pregnancy.Keep your Ob Gyn informed . Toothache: Infection from broken tooth of greater risk to your child than taking appropriate meds. Schedule emergency appointment with your Dentist. Switch from Tylenol to Advil (follow pkg directions to the letter). Keep your OB informed as to your status. But first call your Dentist.
