ECG- in context: The ECG needs to be taken in context of an individual situation. If one of the ECG waves is prolonged, the computer may raise concern of atrial enlarge., if another segment is lower or of a different shape, the computer may raise concerns for a medication (digitalis) effect. The computer does not know you. It just knows that if a calculation is seen, to print certain text. Your MD will correlate.
