Back pain: You would need to follow up with your primary physician in order to be evaluated and treated. Certain questions that she/he may ask include. When did the pain start? Was there an injury or trauma? Was there a rash or changes in bowel, bladder issues Do your legs feel weak? Do you have a fever? Please follow up with your family physician.

Need to be examined: It's difficult to answer this question without knowing more. Having the feeling on touching the skin is encouraging that it is not likely an internal problem. Common possibilities include shingles, which hurts a few days before a rash shows up, pinched nerve, injury, or kidney problems. It would be best to see a doctor if this continues.
