Stop worrying: If it's non-fasting and you do not have blood group A or AB (which inactivate intestinal alk phos), you're probably normal. Most folks who run a slightly high alk phos, which is common, never find the cause and it never reveals a treatable problem that you won't find on routine history and physical. You're a guy so you're not pregnant. Might you have had a little bone fracture from sports?
