Nexplanon: Nexplanon is the most effective reversible birth control method. Failures are exceptionally rare. It is approved for 3 years of use and the levels do not wear off before that. After 3 years it should be removed and replaced if continued contraception is desired. It would not be related to bumps on the nipples.
