Both palms, part under thumbs, swell and feel weird at time. not really pain, but feel weird! sometimes they almost look bruised, but they aren't. ?

Hands: From your description, two common things come to mind, one is carpal tunnel which can cause pins and needles or numbness or strange sensation in thumbs and palm of hand and first three and 1/2 fingers,but no color change (bruise look) associated. The other is Raynaud's disease which would have color change and strange sensation (frostbite like) and happens more often in women.See MD for exam.
