during colonoscopy prep, how can you drink so much fluid during such a short period of time and not suffer from water intoxication?

Dr. Enrique Molina

Drink slowly: drink slowly the liquid as tolerated. Some preparations are "low volume" (2 liters or less) and easier to tolerate, and may be the preferred prep if you are concerned about getting full. You will not get intoxicated with water!
