Hello. can type 1 diabetes cause a false negative hiv test i tested for hiv ab/ag at 3 months negative and hiv1,2 at 6mnths negative is it conclusive?

Yes, conclusive: There are no medical conditions that cause false negative HIV tests, especially with the combo (Ag/Ab) tests. Diabetes certainly does not do so. The combo test is conclusive any time 4 weeks or more after the last possible exposure. Your 3 month result was conclusive and the 6 month test unnecessary.

No and yes: HIV test is not affected by other disease conditions. A negative test at 6 months tells you that you didn't have the infection from that encounter. However it would not have ruled out HIV if you had been exposed to HIV infected blood or secretion subsequently.
