I was going through pap results and noticed five years ago at the age of 40. it showed endometrial cells along with a bacterial infection.

Normal report: Endometrial cells are normal cells from the lining of the uterus and not an abnormal finding. Pap smears are not very accurate for diagnosing bacterial infections. If you have no symptoms at this time, this 5 year old report doesn't matter. Also, if it had been important, your doctor's office would have contacted you at that time. But if in doubt, ask your doctor next time you're in the office.
