I have a tenderness in my left nipple it's been this way for the past month,i went to my doctor he says wait awhile to see if it goes away on it's own?

Unusual: Tenderness of nipple for one month should be evaluated asap. Please see your physician.

Nipple Pain: Arrange a screening test; either a mammogram or an Ultrasound would be place to start. If these tests fail to find a source for the problem, then you may require a breast MRI. Check to see if you have any drainage from that nipple. That might indicate Cancer. All the best.
