Any symptoms?: Why were these tests done? All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it does not seem to be a serious issue, however the elevated AST may be due to alcohol, medications you may taking or if you are overweight. Discuss it with your doctor.
