That's generally: correct..small aymptomatic hydroceoles ( no symptoms) do not need treatment but , my opinion only, most do tend to enlarge and the larger they are the more complex the treatment gets! I would consult a Board Certified UROLOGIST or GENERAL SURGEON for a second opinion! Hope this helps! Dr Z
