Depends: Middle ear effusion (fluid) can be caused by many things. Infection, eustachian tube dysfunction, CSF, a mass, etc. To find out what is causing your fluid and what can/should be done about it would require a consultation either here or with your personal physician. Thanks for asking!

Fluid: Eustachian tube dysfunction with negative middle ear pressure. Possible inflammatory/infection issue. Should see ENT. Could have indication for antibiotics/corticosteroids. No smoking, alcohol. If allergic, treat allergies. Valsalva (pop ears) three to four times per hour. If does not clear or if persistent hearing loss, PE tube may be indicated. Dizziness can occur, but should be relatively minor
