DVT?: You can not rule out a DVT by physical exam. You need an ultrasound. It could be as simple as a strain or local injury. You should see your doctor for an exam.

Get checked: Physical exam for dvt is notoriously unreliable. If there is concern for dvt, you need a Doppler ultrasound to check for it.
