Some of this would: depend on the type of surgery. This might not be too unusual if you had surgery of the gastrointestinal tract (stomach, colon, etc). The appetite suppressant effects of anesthesia should only last a few days, but post-op pain killers will continue to affect appetite and bowel function. Keep up the fluids, eat small amounts of appealing food frequently. Discuss with your Surgeon/Doc. Good wishes:)
