With a high temperature can u alternate paracetamol and ibrufen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually ok to do: There may be little difference in a person, between taking acetaminophen (paracetamol, Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin). Both are for treating fever, pain and inflammation. Always be sure the dose is correct and do not "double-dose" by giving other cold medicines that also contain acetaminophen or ibuprofen. Alternating 2 different drugs usually means waiting 4 hours between different drugs.
