A doctor should look: at this promptly. If you have already seen a doctor about it I suggest contacting their office for instructions. If you have not seen a doctor, it sounds like now is good time to have it checked. You may need to have the wound cleaned out and dressed by a professional, or you may need other medical treatment. Also, if you have not had a tetanus vaccine in the last 6 years, it's time. Take care!
