No worries: Hi Dale, They are very small. Depends on the size your doctor chooses but typically for upper GI purposes, they range between 5-10 mm. You will also get conscious sedation for this procedure so that you don't choke or gag. Many of my patients that have had upper endoscopies say that they didn't even remember the procedure being done. Hope you feel better soon!
