Chest twinges: How old areyou? May be gastritis/ GERD which responds to ranitidine/ prevacid or gallbladder but could also be costcondritis, mycoplasma infection or the heart pericarditis or cardiac ( though pain lasting a second is not usual for heart). Could rarely be lesion. Since there is concern for the heart would follow up with ER or urgent care today

Chest pain: Chest pain should always be evaluated. Your GP should have baseline data, please call for examination.
