Please repost: Please clarify your question. What does "hyperactive gastric" mean, and in what way is your brachial plexus (which is in your left shoulder) related to your symptoms, which don't sound like they have any connection with your brachial plexus?

Unclear: Are you attempting to create one unified hypothesis for brachial plexus lesion and GI symptoms? A brachial plexopathy will have little to do with any abdominal symptoms you might have had. Presumably you were being seen by a physician to have surgery, so would suggest you start there for a further evaluation.
