Doctor can help: A primary care doctor or a urologist can help loosen and stretch the foreskin (and teach a patient how to work on it at home). Corticosteroid creams are sometimes used, and may help. If all that is tried for a while without success, then a patient can ask a urologist what the different surgical options are. There are surgical ways to loosen the foreskin without cutting it off.
