Is colonscopy good for a 70 year aged women?

Assuming: You are in good health and this is for legitimate screening or for prior history of polyps or for diagnosis of GI symptoms attributable to your colon, it is definitely good. Especially considering the alternatives of undiagnosed cancer or other pathology. We usuall stop doing screening exams beyond age 80-85.

Can be : There is a push to stop colonoscopy after age 70 or 75. I tell folks that of you are healthy person and could live at least another 10+ years you should have it done.
