I had stroke in oct of 15 can mri tell it happened in oct of 15 if done now?

Yes but!: The Mri will show the changes due to the stroke if it was a stroke that left its mark Remember a stroke simply means a SUDDEN VASCULAR EVENT that may or may not leave a residual mark However the MRI cannot tell us exactly when it happened!

MRI will: be able to identify an old stroke, but will not be able to precisely date it. So an MRI done now will not be able to tell if the old stroke was in november 15.
