Still a knot: This can easily be treated with a quick history and examination -- this knot may be an inflamed subcutaneous fibroadenomatous nodule. Usually not serious and very common in many people. They flare up and cause pain. Consider a virtual consult or see a physiatrist. Sometimes an injection may be appropriate to calm it down.
