A member asked:

I recently had a tooth extracted,4 days later i have a white bump on my gum above a nearby tooth what could it be?

So many things: The presence of a white lesion in your mouth can be from literally hundreds of different causes. If it is a white "bump," most probable cause is an infected tooth. What you need to do is go back to see your Dentist for an examination, differential diagnosis, and treatment.
