See dentist: Assuming you practice ordinary mouth hygiene with at least two times per day brushing and regular flossing, pain like this is most likely tooth decay. See your dentist to have this looked at.

Infection: And the infection is probably spreading. Can only be cured by treating the tooth. May require antibiotics to reduce spread of infection and analgesics to modify pain. Please call your Dentist immediately. This will not self-correct.
