Pregnancy test: You may do a home pregnancy test 3 weeks after the episode of sex. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex.

No worry. Just test.: This Monday was the 20th, 9 days after sex, and so pregnancy is possible. The rule is, don't worry, just test! Home pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, or medications. A correctly done urine test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have been) or 1 week after missing a period.
