Cyst in kidney: Right now the 1 cm cyst looks pretty small and benign. However it could turn into something solid or can get larger. 6 months is a good time to repeat it. If it looks the same in 6 months then it probably is not malignant or even if it is a cancer, it probably is slow growing and less likely to be aggressive.
