Recheck: I recommend it be rechecked by the ENT who performed the procedure.

ENT Doc should guide: The repair of the hole in the ear drum does not always succeed. So you should go and ask the Ear specialist(ENT) of the hole has been closed completely or not? If you have any doubt, then a second opinion from a different ENT doctor would be necessary for confirmation. There can also be other causes for hearing loss. The ENT doctor should investigate and find the exact cause of hearing loss.
