Yes: Anything the size of a golf ball, that wasn't there in the past, and isn't suppose to grow there, should be worried about. The "pelvic area" doesn't describe exactly where the golf ball is, so a primary care doctor can look to see where it really is. Possibilities include: hernia, enlarged lymph node, cyst, etc...
