Bleeding?: You should seek medical attention if it is bleeding or very painful, red and swollen, or if the finger is not working properly. Other concerns are numbness or tingling.

Laceration: Generally over your knuckle does because of movement of that joint. If you see anything deeper than skin,yes. Make sure your tetanus booster is up to date. All the best.
