When i swallow food it feels like it cuts my throat. my throat only hurts when i swallow food.

Need eval....: In order to diagnose this problem, you need to see a GI doctor. They can take a look down your esophagus and into your stomach and see what is causing your symptoms. During this test, you are sedated and won't remember even having the test done. Ask your family doctor for a GI referral. Once diagnosed, treatment can begin to hopefully get rid of your discomfort.
