I got a tattoo over a week ago and parts of it are still sore and very warm to the tough. it's now getting itchy. what do i do?

R/o skin infection: The worst thing is to scratch when the scabs are itchy. Apply bacitracin ointment three times a day to the affected area of skin. Watch for pus draning from any open sores. Pain, redness and warmth are signs of infection. but sometimes healing process can also cause inflamation. Best to be safe and clean the area with antiseptics regularly and use antibiotics topically until healed.
