A member asked:

I have smoked for 25 years. haveing a nicotine blood test the 21st of march. (6 days) the last few days i've cut way down, if i quit today will i pass?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely: Six days should be enough to pass the test. If you can make it 6 days without smoking do not ever do it again. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
