My 4y has had an ear infection for about 4 weeks went to ENT prescribed drops n antibiotic by mouth he been on drops 3 wks n other 2 why isn't he bett?
Slight redness and pain at intertragal notch in ear. ENT said possible foliculitis and gave antibiotic drops for 4 days. Pain still there. ENT not concerned. Any things I can do to help the ear heal better? Can I use home remedies to help heal this?
Is a tympanoplasty the only way to treat a perforated ear drum? I feel that the ENT may have been hasty. What about antibiotic ear drops?
Have small ruptured eardrum, ENT put me on antibiotic and drops and to come back in 2wks. After a week of meds still feels like water trapped in ear and hearing muffled. Anything I can do to relieve the water trapped feeling or just wait another wee?
