Stretching?: Are you stretching as part of your warmup? The anterior hip flexors (the muscles the make your thigh come up when you high step) attach on the front of your thigh and on the back of your abdominal cavity. Those stretches you learned in elementary school PE class are worth revisiting! Stretch before and after your runs as part of your warm up and cool down
