Xray exposure: There are many types of X-rays of the sinus. Dose is related to number of views. CT will give more. I would think no more that you get when you fly from Ottawa to Victoria in plane. But good to discuss with Dr. doing X-rays.

About 0.1 mSv,: similar to a chest xray. To put that in perspective, natural background radiation exposure is about 3.1 mSv/yr. It is minimal.
